Sama Fabian (CSTA, IYN 500H, YR) is a senior Yoga practitioner, teacher and teacher trainer. Her Yoga is the result of dedicated studies of all aspects of the practice, and a continuous personal inquiry into the trans
formative power of Yoga.
Grounded in a sustained and diligent practice of 29 years her teaching puts the student in touch with profound layers of experience utilising the full Yoga Sadhana of structural and energetic body-work, vinyasa sequences, pranayama, visualisation and meditation.
Sama studied with prominent teachers in the field:
- Sri Satchitananda of Madras (Concentration: the power of mind)
- Ma Gandha (Vini Yoga)
- Silva Mehta & Sylvia Prescott (Iyengar Yoga)
- Angela Farmer (Unfolding the Feminine)
- Dona Holleman & Orit Sen Gupta (Dancing the Body of Light, the Future of Yoga)
The work of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother of Pondicherry have been a continuous inspiration and the practice itself has provided wondrous spiritual resources.
Sama’s practice as a qualified Craniosacral Therapist and her on-going experimentation with art have also broaden and enriched her teaching philosophy.
She is the founder of Aurolab Yoga Project and a founder member of the Independent Yoga Network UK.
